The Bitou 10 Education and Development Foundation hosted a ‘Sandcastle Competition’ on Central Beach on Saturday, 1 September 2018.

Families, friends and children enjoyed a fun filled ‘Spring Day’ morning on the beach building and decorating their sandcastles.

The Plett Field Band provided wonderful sounds, as everyone worked tirelessly to finish their masterpieces in time.

“The aim of this event was to bring families and friends together to enjoy a morning of beachy fun. We will definitely host another Sandcastle event next year” says Sooneela Naina, manager of Bitou 10 Foundation.

There were three categories to choose from: Junior; Senior or Group and prizes were awarded for the most original and creative sandcastles.
