The Lights On After School Campaign is not just an event; it is a celebration of the dedicated individuals and organisations who are committed to closing the opportunity gap and nurturing the talents and passions of our youth. This is because access to quality After School Programmes plays a vital role in the education of a child. They create opportunities for learners to discover their passions and to learn new skills which contributes to improved future life opportunities.
This is what the Bitou 10 Foundation is all about and we are so excited to stand together with the Lights On After School Campaign to raise awareness of how crucial these programmes are! Programmes just like the one featured in our last post: An after school reading programme utilising the phenomenal TIME (Together In My Education) resources for Grade R & 1 Learners.
