Mathematics Resource Project
Each Grade 2 and Grade 3 class teacher, at seven Bitou primary schools, receive a quarterly, grade-appropriate, CAPS aligned mathematics resource pack to be used during groupwork in the mathematics lessons to enhance the learners understanding of taught mathematics concepts.
In collaboration with the WCED, Circuit 4 District Office, Janette Jooste, Foundation Phase Curriculum Advisor, assists our contracted staff in the editing of the resource packs, and provides the teacher training workshops, to further demonstrate the use of the resources to promote groupwork in the Foundation Phase (Grade R to grade 3).
